Next Green Road Run
1st September – Queen Elizabeth Forest and Comer Estate
We meet at the car park behind The Scottish Wool Center in Aberfoyle for a 10.30am sign on and 11am departure for this popular GRR which takes in much of the Queen Elizabeth Forest and Comer Estate. The run costs £10 per vehicle plus a charity donation (see below) and is suitable for all Land Rovers. Please remember to bring lunch, a camera and suitable clothing for the day.
At the request of the land owner all monies after the FCS permit is paid will be donated to charity, for which we have selected the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland. Please bring your loose change or left over holiday currency and all donations will be very greatly received.
Next Training Day
22nd September – Bathgate
Develop your off-road driving skills and see just what you and your Land Rover can do when the tarmac ends at our training day and Club BBQ at Bathgate, an extensive site with varied terrain to suit all levels of ability. We meet at 10.30am for an 11am drivers briefing and start. There will be sections available for all abilities and the team of experienced club marshals will be on hand to give advice or winch you out when you get stuck! The cost for this event is £25 per vehicle and £5 for any additional drivers (to cover MSA insurance) and all drivers must be members of the club. Please remember to bring suitable clothing, footwear and something to cook on the BBQ if you so wish!
Please come along and support the club in making our training days a continued success!
